A particularly good example of the Bruce Roberts 34 Sailing Yacht, built to a very high professional standard, she has a beautiful iroko, mahogany and oak interior.
She is sloop rigged with deck stepped mast, twin backstays, removable inner forestay, furling genoa, main with 3 reefs, battened with lazyjacks and rigid vang. She has wheel steering making best use of the cockpit space.

A very solid, strong and stable yacht, she cruises effortlessly and would be a comfortable long distance cruiser for a couple.

Cruised extensively by the current owner and maintained to a very high level.

The hull was moulded in Birkenhead in 1977 after which it was taken to Dartmouth and remained unused until 1983 before being professionally completed in 1986.
In 2000 it underwent a major refit with all the work done professionally. This included an epoxy treated (below water line) and painted hull (above water line), new standing and running rigging, new boom with single line reefing fittings (not utilized at this time), removal and refitting of seacocks and rear chainplates, new fully battened mainsail and other canvas work.

In 2005 it had further professional work to replace engine bearings, prop shaft, PSS seal, cutlass bearing, rudder bearing and sleeve, and various exhaust fittings.

Up until 2005 the boat was kept between Brixham and Plymouth being cruised in the West Country, Scilly Isles, Channel Isles and Brittany. It was then sailed to Scotland by the present owner and has since been cruised extensively on the west coast.
